Duties include working directly with patients to assist with the admission and services process, review insurance eligibility and financial responsibilities and schedule appointments.
This position will have cash handling responsibilities and will also assist clinical staff with their schedules and complete other tasks that contribute to the day to day functions of the department.
Greet, educate and instruct patients through admission and services process Verify patient information and check in patients for scheduled appointments Notify patient of insurance benefits and financial responsibilities Answer telephone and direct calls appropriately Schedule patient appointments Manage clinical schedules and assist clinical staff as needed Monitor account balances, payment plans, and collection reports Cross-train with county client services staff and help cover county offices when requested Preform cash handling responsibilities and daily reconciliation of cash drawer Other duties as assigned As an agency that works with a vulnerable demographic of individuals, we require extensive pre-employment background checks that aide in fulfilling our mission to protect our patients, keeping them safe from abuse and harm, by hiring quality and trustworthy staff.

Education Required High School or better.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
