Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scale Operator to join our team.
As a Scale Operator, you will be responsible for weighing and documenting the weight of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure that all shipments are properly recorded and accounted for.
Duties:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing shipments using scales and other measuring equipment - Record accurate weights and measurements in the system - Verify shipment information, such as product codes, and quantities.
- Communicate with load out personnel to ensure proper handling of shipments - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale area -Answering phones, handling walk-in customers with stone inquiries.
-cleaning scale house building -Being able to multi-task, while handling high volumes of customers.
-Showing up, on time.
Willing to work 5-6 days a week.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Basic knowledge of computers.
