We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to ensure the smooth functioning of our in-house computer network.
The role involves comprehensive planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
Additionally, the successful candidate will analyze and promptly resolve end-user hardware and software issues and provide necessary training when needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Windows Server and Active Directory environment, including user management, group management, directory rights, print services, GPOs, and other related services.
Setup and maintain Windows 10/11 desktops.
Oversee Office 365 tenant and applications such as Email, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerBI.
Maintain VMware ESXi hosts.
Administer network software for patch management, anti-virus/anti-malware, vulnerability management, and server backups/replication.
Review internal Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Electronic Log Monitoring (ELM) reports.
Execute system backups and recovery processes.
Collaborate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors providing network products and services.
Manage asset inventory for mobile devices and network hardware, maintaining relevant documentation and technical specifications.
Recommend, schedule, and execute network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
Conduct hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.
Pursue continuous education through schooling or training opportunities.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in computer science or three years of equivalent work experience.
Microsoft Certification preferred.
Proficient technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10/11.
Extensive experience in application support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Active Directory.
Working familiarity with current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting.
Ability to conduct research on networking issues and products.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements.
Work Conditions:
Availability during non-business hours.
Occasional branch travel required.
Extended periods of sitting.
Manual dexterity for operating computer equipment and handling components.
Occasional inspection of cables in walls and ceilings.
Lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects such as computers and peripherals.
